Documentation of the model system components

The documentation of the dynamical model components are made available on this webpage together with additional documentations of interest. The description of the dynamical model system components itself int2lm and COSMO-CLM can be found following the menu bar point "Model System Documentations". The documentation of the configurations of the models and a tool to compare the recommended configurations with each other (and with own) configurations can be found following the menu bar point "Recommended Configurations" (for members only). The menu bar point "COSMO-CLM at DKRZ" (for members only) describes the possibilities for data exchange and data access ( model in- and output) at DKRZ in Hamburg, which at the moment is on of the main computing platforms of CLM-Community members.

Naming Conventions

In 2008 the dynamical models name was changed from CLM to COSMO-CLM. However, in order to avoid confusion the CLM-Community naming conventions for the community, the models and the configuration are summarized in the CLM Naming Conventions. Please, take them into account with your publication.

Coding Standards

The "European standards for writing and documenting exchangeable FORTRAN 90 code" for the basis for programming the model extensions in the COSMO-CLM. These rules do not cover all important topics. A revised version will be made available here.

Status of known model bugs

The status and documentation of known model bugs is available via the Mantis Bugtracking system:
